Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent family law experience and be a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) in good standing. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload while supporting attorneys throughout all stages of family law proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, prepare, and file family law pleadings, motions, notices, financial affidavits, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist attorneys with divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, domestic violence, and post-judgment matters.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Manage attorney calendars, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
  • Organize and maintain case files and legal documents.
  • Review and summarize financial records, bank statements, tax returns, and other case-related documents.
  • Prepare discovery responses and assist with document production.
  • E-file documents with Florida courts and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
  • Coordinate and prepare exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.

Qualifications

  • Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent family law paralegal experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures and court rules.
  • Experience drafting legal documents independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
